In still others the furniture almost fades into the background with colorful accents standing out from the uniform (in these cases white) color scheme around them.
For starters, the pull out the coffee table modules (which double as footstools) reveal a three-seat couch with padded cushions. Side wings flip up and out to make additional side-table space. A few quick conversions and the available surface area is multiplied a few times over – making room for you to take a seat with a few guests and kick up your feet as well.
Used as an alternative to hotel rooms or as a temporary residence for multi-city dwellers, the Living Roof project exists as individual suites spread throughout the city. Inside, rather than dispersing activities horizontally, a functional ring vertically combines sleep, lounge and work areas.
Guests can choose their desired mode and the ring rotates the appropriate module downwards. Luxury, style and ecology are effortlessly provided in the Living Roof. A new urban retreat, a refuge to recover, plan excursions into the city, or simply stare into the stars.
The history of houses as we know them today began back in prehistoric days. Back then people used to live in trees. They then moved into caves and later they started building shelters. With time, they began to create more elaborate designs and to make larger and stronger houses for their families. By the 1500s we already had houses that were 3 or 4-stories high.
